Focus on News

The NEN publish updates and papers on current Work Related Learning and enterprise activity. In addition NEN publish a quarterly newsletter with an on line bulletin board for members.

The objective is to keep members informed on Government legislation, curriculum developments and papers, new resources and events. An opportunity for members to highlight their projects and provide mini case studies is also a facet of the news section.

PAPERS INCLUDE:

Enterprise and Ofsted – a paper giving advice and guidance for Work Related Learning and Enterprise linked to Ofsted and the SEF. The paper gives an overview with practical advice.

NEWSLETTERS INCLUDE:

Members Newsletter
– A series of newsletters that are also sent to members as a hard copy. The newsletter is published on a termly basis and gives up to date information with regard enterprise. Members’ articles are also included in the publication giving an insight into national current activity.

EVENTS INCLUDE:

Enterprise Week
– The planning for Enterprise Week 2006 is already underway. This section will provide dates and information on activity from members.

Enterprise Roadshows - The National Enterprise Network in partnership with Simon Howarth & Associates are delivering a series of Roadshows titled Implementing Work Related Learning and Enterprise. These will be locally delivered and focus on the delivery of Work Related Learning and the new Vocational Diplomas, Quality Work Experience and Enterprise including Functional skills. The Roadshows will be held annually with new “Hot Topics” available every year.

MINI CASE STUDIES:

School Focussed Case Studies
- A range of short case studies is available in this section. All mini case studies are provided by members for members.
